California Junior Scholarship Federation
CJSF is a prestigious statewide service organization that honors students who excel academically. CJSF is the middle school equivalent of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) found at the high school level and is highly valued by colleges. To qualify for CJSF membership each semester, students must earn at least 8 total points, based upon the final report card at the end of each semester. Points are granted based on the following point system:
- A = 3 points
- B = 1 point
- C = 0 points
- D/F in any class disqualifies students from membership
- Honors course letter grade of a "B" receives 1 bonus point, up to 2 points total.
- No "N"s or "U"s in Citizenship
