Principal's Message

Welcome to Sparks Middle School-Home of the Spartans! It is a privilege for me to serve you as your principal.   This upcoming year is full of many fantastic and exciting plans to both engage and challenge you as students in a well-rounded and well-balanced education. 

For more than 50 years Sparks Middle School has maintained a Tradition of Success in academics, athletics, and beyond the classroom.  Our success is due in large part to the caring, dedicated, and expert teachers and staff who inspire students individual growth while they hold high expectations for academics and behavior.  Whether they are greeting you at the gate in morning, waving to you in the hallway at lunch, or tutoring you after school, everyone here at Sparks Middle School is here to help guide you on the road to academic and personal success.  Everyone here plays a role in helping you to dream bigger and inspire you to work harder so that we can all celebrate more.   This is what Spartans have done for a better part of a half century.  This is the Legacy of Excellence you will be part of and contribute too this school year and throughout your years here at Sparks Middle School.

Your parents and families are instrumental in making sure you are healthy, well balanced, and emotional and physically safe.  Parents are partners and we encourage our families to get involved.  Please review this student handbook. Students and their parents/guardians are expected to familiarize themselves with the contents. It contains important information that will help students understand the expectations of academics and behavior at here Sparks Middle School.  It also lays out policies and procedures the school follows to best serve the students and the community.                               

Sparks Middle School is a place where we strive to be Smarter, Stronger, and Kinder and we do it all by working together!
